baden-baden christmas market

This December I embarked on an ultimate German Christmas Market Tour and my first stop was Baden-Baden. This is actually the first Christmas Market where I drank my first glühwein. Yay.

What makes it special: This Christmas market is set against the backdrop of the world-famous Kurhaus casino in the equally world- famous spa and thermal bath city of Baden-baden located in the legendary hills of the Black Forest. Whew!

What I loved about it: The Christmas Market is not that big so it was cozy and not super overwhelming.

What can you find here: Besides the normal wursts and gluhwein, they have some great cheeses and special chocolate balls with rum. Yum.

Here are some pictures from Baden-Baden Christmas Market:

Gluhwein and sausages! Do you need any more reasons than those to go Christmas market hopping?
