This December I embarked on an ultimate German Christmas Market Tour and my first stop was Baden-Baden. This is actually the first Christmas Market where I drank my first glühwein. Yay.
What makes it special: This Christmas market is set against the backdrop of the world-famous Kurhaus casino in the equally world- famous spa and thermal bath city of Baden-baden located in the legendary hills of the Black Forest. Whew!
What I loved about it: The Christmas Market is not that big so it was cozy and not super overwhelming.
What can you find here: Besides the normal wursts and gluhwein, they have some great cheeses and special chocolate balls with rum. Yum.
